The 100 Mile Route

Not Challenging enough you said? We heard you once again!

We are hitting you with over 6000 ft of elevation on a hot summer morning.   This century follows the same base route as the metric century (62 mile), but you will extend the ride by heading east on Hodgen Rd for 7 miles before heading south towards Colorado Springs.  Once on Woodman Rd you are a short 5 miles until your next aid station on Black Forest Rd.  Be sure to take Vollmer rd north after you leave the aid station.

Are you ready to head back yet?  11 more miles before we get you back to Hodgen Rd to catch up with your friends that chose the easier century ( Metric Century they call it! ) As you head back west on Baptist Rd, don’t forget to stop and breathe in the magnificent view of Pikes peak right in front of your eyes.  Perfect spot to get a selfie or perhaps meetup with friends for a quick photo before the descent.  You will be heading towards Monument, a beautiful hidden gem of a town in the west side of Hwy I-25. Be sure to follow all traffic laws as you cruise by the town.  As you find Hwy 105 head toward Palmer lake. After a short rest at Palmer lake aid station be ready to cruise down-wind on Highway 105 and head towards Tomah Rd. You might want to take advantage of another aid station at Tomah before the long Climb, Strava Challenge and fans awaiting to cheer you on the ascend !!!!

As you descend Tomah Rd be sure to take a right turn on Bear Dance Rd just before you hit the frontage road.  Continue through the beautiful golf course community towards Perry Park Avenue and then back to the Park where there will be cold beverages, great food, massages and more waiting for you in the Food & Fun Zone.
